Hi, I’m Jimmy Lahaie I grew up in a musical family where my father, grandfather and great grandfather all had a music career.
I started playing at the age of 9 with my father as my teacher. I knew when I was a kid that the only thing I wanted to do in life was playing music. I pursued my dreams... Today I play, I tour and I teach online.
Projects: Among my most recent projects are the Heritage gospel albums vol.1,2,3 and 4 as well as 2 Christmas albums, all winning multiple awards at the GMA Covenant Awards Canada. Other personal album projects include: Droom Somiar, InPoney, Inkontrast, Maybegrae. (You can listen to them below).
I have composed and worked on the soundtracks of several short films & documentaries for "Productions Ovizion" (Heureux Naufrage, In Memoriam, Philippe, La Chicot, Enfin Vivre, UQAC)
Studio & touring: I have participated in over 90 albums since 2004 as an arranger and studio musician. I regularly tour all over North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Antilles, and the Indian Ocean to perform in concert and give "master classes".
